Held on the last Sunday of the month the Brighton Music Day has been a mainstay of the Dunedin Music Scene for years. Held at the Brighton Club and supported by a music mad local crowd the longstanding event has hosted acts of a wide variety of genres, experience and age. Whether your a professional musician looking to play somewhere new or a beginner looking for some stage experience all are welcome.
The first act is on at 2pm and the last act finishes at 7pm. Each act has 20 minutes of playing time with 10 minutes for changeover.
The backline will be provided which includes a full range PA, digital mixer and foldback monitors.
There will be a drum kit but we ask you to bring your own kick pedal, snare and cymbals.
There will be a high quality bass amp and guitar amp provided.
There will be 4 vocal mics set up.
We can usually fulfil any requests beyond this so just let us know on this form if you need to bring your 15 piece string orchestra and we’ll figure out the best way to produce it.
